About Dr. Jeremy Fink

Malibu, CA Pscyhologist Working from a private home office located in Malibu, CA, Dr. Fink provides psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to children, adolescents, individual adults, and couples.

Dr. Fink holds degrees from The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), The University of Southern California (USC), and the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis (ICP). Additionally, he received extensive training from UC Berkeley Professors Mary Main and Erik Hesse in the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI), which influenced the development of his attachment focused couples therapy (AFCT) , and has been trained in EMDR , which he practices with children and adults. A trained psychoanalyst , Dr. Fink is able to provide long term intensive therapy for those serious about creating lasting change in their lives; however, Dr. Fink has also been trained in and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) along with other shorter term treatment models.

Dr. Fink has lectured and presented for schools, students, clinicians, parents, and has worked in many clinical settings throughout the Los Angeles area, some of which include The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills and Step Up on Second in Santa Monica. He provides clinical supervision and in the past been a facilitator for the UCLA-Lifespan Learning Institute’s Attachment in Clinical Context series as well as a guest lecturer for the USC School of Social Work.

When Jeremy is not in his office he can be found at the park with his daughter, biking the trails of the Santa Monica mountains, surfing, playing his guitar, or building something completely impractical and awesome in his garage.
